FJ Elfin Catalina 1962 Chassis No 624
Built by Elfin Sports cars (Melbourne Australia) originally to compete as Formula Junior powered by a 1100cc Ford.
Formula Junior was a flop in Australia, so Elfin fitted a larger engine to compete the 1.5 litre national Formula.
Kevin Bartlett drove the car to victory first time out, at the Catalina Circuit, so these cars where given the 'Catalina' designation.
