   Brynfan Tyddyn Special

Brynfan Tyddyn Special
I think body panels were made by Tim Wood in or around 1957 to accommodate the Cooper / Norton setup and to streamline the nose. He ran it at the Giants Despair hillclimb that year. It has Borrani wire wheels and a Nardi wood steering wheel and was on display in his den when I bought it around 1980 after his demise.

It now needs a backrest for the driver and new paint. The body panels are aluminum and some steel Dzus fasteners have been fitted that should be replaced. For perfection, the steering arms don't match and the megaphone has been lost.

I have lots of mechanical spares from antiquity, and everything else is as I acquired it and in good running order. Over-revving results in bent valves so I'd also suggest a rev-limiter unless you're used to a motorcycle engine.

PRICE: $35,000 US Dollars.
This is a truly unique car and I feel it's history makes it priceless, but you can have it for a mere $35,000 US Dollars. Also, see Carl Goodwin's report in the Vintage Motorsport issue of March / April 2005.
